2015 HIAWATHA TRADITIONAL MUSIC FESTIVAL FOOD CONCESSION APPLICATION
Dear Concessionaire,The 2015 Hiawatha Music Co-op Festival Committee hopes your will join us as a Food Concessionaire
for our 37th Annual Hiawatha Traditional Music Festival, July 17, 18 and 19, 2015. Yes, It is our 37th Annual Festival!
Hiawatha expects more than 3,300 Festival attendees at this year’s event, and we know they look forward to enjoying the
variety of foods provided by our Concessionaires. To reduce paperwork, we will again use the combined Concession
Application and the Concession Contract document. HMC is requesting current address corrections as appropriate, as
well as an email address if available; so that in future years we may forward the pre-Festival paperwork to you
electronically. As in the past, For-Profit Vendors may select one of two options:
Option #1: The Vendor pays the Hiawatha Music Co-Op 12% of gross sales and receives two (2) weekend Festival passes,
and one (1) on-site vehicle parking pass per vendor or;
Option #2: The Vendor pays the Hiawatha Music Co-Op 15% of the gross sales and receives four (4) weekend Festival
passes, and a maximum of one (1) on-site vehicle parking pass per vendor.
Additional Festival passes may be purchased at pre-Festival prices prior to the Festival through the Hiawatha Music Co-Op
office or on-line from the website prior to the event. Additional Festival passes purchased at the Festival are purchased
through the main gate at Gate prices, and as available. A limited number of on-site tent/camper tags are offered as
available, in camping Areas D, E, G at the normal tent tag prices, as available.
Please note/remember that the Marquette County Health Department is always up-dating its requirements for the required
Temporary Food Service License. Please call 906.475.4195, or stop in for up-to-date information regarding their
requirement information. Also note that the Marquette Fire Department requires all Vendor canopies to be fireproof and
to have an approved fire extinguisher on site. Please contact the City of Marquette Fire Marshall for details and questions
about your set-up at 906.228.0410.
Please understand that your completion of this application and enclosure of a deposit represents only an application and does
not guarantee a booth at the Festival until it is signed by an officer of the Hiawatha Music Co-Op and returned to you. As in
the past, deposits will be promptly returned to those applicants not selected for the Festival. Please mail all applications
directly to the Hiawatha Music Co-Op at PO Box 414, Marquette, MI 49855, and indicate on the envelope: Attention: Jesse
