Congratulations! TEACHER OF THE YEAR Tammy Crannie EMPLOYEES OF THE YEAR Sandra Mikush Michelle Weaver Kelly Coppin How are we preparing for STAAR? Our teachers and students have been working hard all year to prepare for the upcoming STAAR tests. In addition to rigorous initial instruction, our department chairs have been collaborating to create a rotating LEAD schedule so that the students get the most enrichment possible in the four core tested areas. Also, many of the departments have been holding extra tutorial sessions to make sure that students feel as comfortable as possible on the day of the test. Ask your student’s teachers for more information about their tutorial schedule. Tips for Testing Success 1. Get a good night’s rest 2. Eat a healthy breakfast 3. Relax!
