Tender Notice
University Sports board, HNB Garhwal Central University Srinagar UK. Invites
sealed tenders for Sports Goods & Sports Kits for Session 2015-16 from the reputed
and experienced firms. The sealed tenders shall reach within one month from the
date of advertisement. The details (rules, conditions & list of Sports Equipment
and Sports kit) and Tender form shall be downloaded from University website
www.hnbgu.ac.in.

PRESCRIBED TENDER FORM AND TENDER NOTICE
Sealed tenders are invited for the supply of sports Equipments and kit as mentioned
in the tender form,
1.
Tenders must be submitted in properly sealed double
envelops duly marked
(Tender for sports equipment and kit) HNB Garhwal University addressed to the
undersigned and should reach us on or before 4:00 p.m. within one month from the
date of advertisement . The sealed tenders must be handed over personally at the
above office and a receipt obtained or sent per registered post. The tenders will be
opened by the undersigned or an officer duly authorized by him in presence of
tenderers or their authorized representatives who may be present.
2.
Tenders will be opened on (prize bid) system.
3.
Intending tenderers shall have to deposit earnest money Rs. 50,000 in the name of
the Finance Officer, HNB Garhwal University, Srinagar Garhwal in the form of DD,
without which the tender will not be considered.
4.
The Tenderers will be responsible for the proper packing of items so as to avoid
damage under normal conditions of transport to ensure delivery of the material in
good condition to the consignee at destination. In the event of any loss, liable to
damage, breakage or leakage or loss and shortage found at the checking or
inspection of the materials by the consignee, cost on such account shall be
admissible.
5.
The certification letter of manufacturer’s along with warranty of the product would
be necessary condition of tender.
6.
All rates quoted must be F.O.R. destination (University Sports Board Store).
7.
The Tenderers whose tender is accepted shall arrange supplies within 30 days from
the date of placing the order.
8.
The tender either in full or in part may be rejected without giving any reason. The
Registrar, HNB Garhwal University reserves the right of accepting or rejecting the
tenders without giving any reason.
9.
Tender should be filled in with ink. No tender filled in by pencil or otherwise shall
not be considered. No additions, alterations and over writing should be allowed in
the tender.
10.
The Tenderer should sign the Tender Form at the end in token of the acceptance of
all the terms and conditions of the tender and the agreement.
11.
Kit samples to be brought on the day you are called by the undersigned.
12.
The rates should be quoted for the type of articles specified.
13.
The make and the name of the manufacturing firm must be specified in case of all
types of articles.
14.
No railway receipt will be accepted by VPP.
15.
Tenders received after the prescribed date and time will be rejected.
16.
Please quote only for those articles, which you can supply from your ready stocks or
within one month from the date of receipt of our purchase– order.
17.
The above rates will be valid up to 31.03.2016.
18.
All Legal proceeding which may arise relating to this contract shall be subject to the
jurisdiction of the appropriate court situated in Pauri.
19.
Not with standing anything contained herein before in these special term &
conditions, the University reserves itself the right to take action against the
defaulting tenderer for any kind misbehaviour or for any breach of the contract
what-so-ever by way of imposing of penalty, forfeiting of security money,
cancellation of order, cancellation of the agreement and blacklisting and such other
action according to the University rules.
20.
Approved tenderer will have to execute an agreement in prescribed format on a nonjudicial stamp of Rs.100/- at his own cost within Seven Days from receipt of the
letter from this office.
