Welcome to Worship this Sunday morning! Pastor George will be
leading us in the study of God’s Word. A trained Prayer Servant will be
honored to pray with you by the church organ after the service. There will
be no service this evening.
Join us this Sunday after the morning service as we celebrate our
graduates at the Graduation Coffee! Graduates and parents, please leave
during the last song.
Can one person make a difference? Yes. They. Can. Every life has a
purpose. Can you think of anyone in your life that has experienced an
unplanned pregnancy? Statistics show us that more than half of all
pregnancies are unplanned. Walk with a purpose on June 20, and make a
difference in honor of a special life in your life. Join Lakeshore Pregnancy
Center in their annual LifeWalk! For more information, visit the LifeWalk
table in the narthex.
Neighborhood watchers: Don’t forget to turn in the address of new
neighbors that need to be welcomed by the Outreach Committee.
Kitchen Spring Cleaning will be on June 3 from 9-2 (or whenever we
are finished). Please sign up on the Kiosk.
Congregational Meeting: All members are encouraged to be here next
week after the service for our Congregational meeting. This year it will
include a report from the ad hoc facility usage committee that studied
our facility needs, a brief financial report, and selection of elders and
deacons. The list of Elder and Deacon nominees is in each member’s
mail box.
The Men’s Softball team will be playing this Thursday at 7:10 p.m. at
the Bill Mar field in Zeeland. Come on out and support the team!
Heights of Hope is looking for some coaches this summer to lead a
small group of youth for 8 weeks on Monday mornings during our WHOA
program. Email us at [email protected] or call 616392-8559 ext. 18. Also needed are tutors 1-2 days a week. No teaching
experience needed!
BAMM 2015 is coming! We look forward to “Camp Discovery” coming
to Holland Heights this summer! We will meet on Wednesdays from
June 17-July 29. Please check out more information on the back of the
bulletin or stop by the information table in the narthex! There are
registration sheets on Camp Discovery table by the nurseries. Online
registration is available on our website. Specifically needed are Crew
Leaders and Middle School and High Schoolers to come and join the
fun! We need volunteers to help iron in t-shirt transfers for the BAMM
leaders/volunteers. Please see Lindy Boss or Jodi Vryhof if you want to
help with this.
Interested in a weekly Bible Study? Join Sharon Hulst as she leads in
a study of minor prophets using the book “Restoring an Attitude of
Wonder and Worship” by Warren Wiersbe. All women are welcome on
Tuesdays, starting June 2, at 10:00 a.m. Please sign up on the Kiosk.
