HOMETOWN HOLIDAYS The 24th Annual Chelsea Hometown Holiday is a festive, fun-filled weekend celebration that kicks off the holiday season. The activities start with Santa lighting the giant Christmas tree at Pierce Park on Friday night and ends with a holiday carol concert featuring singing groups from the churches of Chelsea on Sunday evening. There are many events, activities and attractions all weekend including Santa’s Workshop, Gingerbread House decorating, the annual Light Parade and many, many more. Christmas on the (Waterloo) Farm Saturday, Dec. 3, 10a - 4p, Sunday, Dec. 4, Noon - 4p This annual recreation of the holiday's traditions includes tours of the ten-room farmhouse, the authentic log house, eight outbuildings, and the oneroom Dewey School. New this year is a traditional Christmas program at Dewey School. Hand-crafted greens, homemade baked goods, and gift items will be available for purchase.
