Teen Leadership Program Application
The Homer Township Public Library is seeking five “Teen Leaders” for the summer of 2015. This application
is NOT for the library’s regular summer teen intern program, which will be available May 1.
As a group, the Teen Leaders will plan, implement, and attend 5 teen programs at the library. Leaders will be
“unpaid” and will receive a $200 dollar stipend at the end of their term of service. A minimum of the required
15-20 hours of service must be fulfilled in order to receive the stipend.
Applicants must be going into grades 9-12 as of Fall 2015.
Application deadline is April 27, 2015. Potential candidates will be interviewed during the month of April.
Applicants will be notified of their acceptance by email on May 4.

Wed, May 20 from 5-7pm – orientation
Wed, June 17 from 2-3pm – planning session
Wed, June 24 from 2-3pm – planning session
Thurs, June 25 from 6:30-9pm – teen movie program*
Tues, June 30 from 6-7pm – teen craft program*
Wed, July 1 from 2-3pm – planning session
Mon, July 6 from 6-7pm – teen food program*
Wed, July 8 from 2-3pm – planning session
Tues, July 14 from 6-7pm – teen craft program*
Thurs, July 23 from 6-7pm – teen food program*
Mon, Aug 3 or Tues, Aug 4 (time TBD) – individual review
Wed, Aug 5 from 2-4pm – final group meeting
*Each teen leader must arrive to ONE of the programs at least 30 minutes beforehand for set-up assistance.
Please note that additional days & times (not in excess of 5 total hours) may be added to the schedule.
