2015 th 12 Annual Swartz Creek Idol We are looking for creative, entertaining, and energetic singers! All finalists will receive prize money, a trophy & bragging rights! Sponsored by: Schedule of Events Category Details: Thursday May 28th 1. Swartz Creek Students: SC students compete within their class category. 1st, 2nd & 3rd place to be awarded for each class. Swartz Creek High School Auditions @ 4PM Friday May 29th Cash Prizes - 1st $50.00, 2nd $25.00 3rd $20.00 Swartz Creek Elementary Auditions @ 4PM Swartz Creek Middle School Auditions @ 6PM 2. Open Mic: Open to all and separated into age classes. Open Mic will award the 1st place in each class, Elementary, Middle School, High School & Adult. Saturday May 30th Open Mic Competition @ 12PM NEW Duets Competition @ 2PM Finals for Swartz Creek High, Middle & Elementary School @ 4:30PM Event Rules & Instructions Cash Prizes - 1st Place in each class - $25.00 3. NEW THIS SEASON “Duets”: Open to all age combinations. So have a friend or family member join you to become a “DUET Winner”. 1st, 2nd & 3rd place to be awarded for Duets. Cash Prizes - 1st $50.00, 2nd $25.00 3rd $20.00 1. ****You are only allowed to compete in ONE category per season.**** 2. Pre-registration is required and can be completed online at hometowndays.org or in person at SageLink Credit Union - Miller Rd. Swartz Creek. Pre-registration is required by May 23rd, 2015. 3. Performers must supply their own music (lyric free CD). You may also sing A Capella or accompany yourself with an instrument. 4. Please Arrive 30 minutes early to sign in on the day of competition. 5. All performances will be held in Kincaid Park at the KidZone tent on the west side of Morrish Rd and south of Miller Rd.
