Houston Camera Club Member of PSA & GSCCC THE RANGEFINDER Volume 55, No. 06 Organized 1935 June, 2015 Meets first and third Tuesdays of each month at Bayland Community Center, 6400 Bissonnet near Hillcroft Shootout Lunch—June 6 Tuesday, June 2, 2015 Frank’s Restaurant, Schulenberg The shootout lunch will be held at the traditional location, Frank’s Restaurant in Schulenberg. Frank’s is on the south side of I-10 at the Schulenberg exit. Lunch will begin at 11:30. After lunch, the entries of both clubs will be shown by category. The club cumulative scores will be announced and the trophy awarded to the winning club. Last year, our club won the trophy. There are several painted churches in the area. Go early and photograph before lunch. It is better to photograph in the morning, as church services are often scheduled in the late afternoon. Search the internet for details, pictures, and maps. The Conference will run from Sunday, September 27 through Saturday, October 3. The Conference hotel is the Holiday Inn West Yellowstone.
