Notification No. Fin.-C-A(3)-2/2013 dated 24th March,201S vide Which the
extensions in service granted under rule 56( dd) of Fundamental Rules, notified

vide notification of even number dated 28 th May, 2014, have been withdrawn

and as a sequel thereto all Government servants who have been granted

extensions beyond the age of superannuation shall stand retired on after noon

It has been observed that the above decision of the

Government has caused hardship to certain Government servants who have
been granted extension alongwith their seniors and could not get the benefit
of promotion for the reason that both of them are now to retire on 31 st March,
2015.
In order to mitigate this hardship It has been decided by

the Government in the public interest, that those Government servants who
have been granted extension in service and could not get promotion due to
extension granted to their seniors
alongwith
and
are retiring
on 3151: March, 2015
their seniors against whom they were to be considered for

.." for promotion, may be granted extension in service upto 16th April, 2015, as
a special case, under rule 56(d) of the Fundamental Rules. This extension In
service will also be applicable to the Government servants .who are to
superannuate on 31 st March, 2015 and have been deprived of the benefit of
promotion due to extension in service granted to their seniors.

All the
Appointing Authorities are delegated the powers to
accord extension till 16th April, 2015 and to decide such cases as a one time
measure and will ensure that the promotion cases are considered by the OPCS
and decided before 16th April, 2015.
