GRADE 6 MATH BOOST CAMP
(60 hours)
2 week Math Boost Camp from July 6 – July 17, 2015 (9am – 4pm)
The camp is intended for students who are experiencing difficulties in mathematics. Students must
have a minimum final mark of 50%. A referral from one’s elementary school principal is a
prerequisite.
Students who register for this course will participate in 30 hours of mathematics to prepare them for
grade 7. The focus will be on improving basic skills and competency through hands-on activities with
experienced math teachers. In addition, students will take part in 30 hours of multi-sport recreational
activities.
REGISTRATION: Registration form and payment must be sent to R.S.B. by May 29, 2015
COST:
$300.00 per course for students who attended R.S.B. schools
$400.00 for outside candidates (if space available)
Supplementary fees may apply should Daycare services be needed

SPECIAL 5 WEEK COURSE – MATHEMATICS 306
(100 hours)
5 week course from June 29 – July 31, 2015 (8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.)
This five week (100 hours) course is specifically designed for students who require Secondary III math
in order to be promoted to Secondary IV math. Successful completion of Math 206 or failure of Math
306, along with a recommendation / referral from one's school administrator is a prerequisite.

CULTURE, SOCIAL & TECHNICAL MATHEMATICS 414
(125 hours)
4 week course from June 29 – July 24, 2015 (8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.)
This four week (125 hours) course is specifically designed for students who require Secondary IV
math in order to obtain their High School Diploma, or be promoted to Secondary V mathematics.
Successful completion of Math 306 is a prerequisite.

SPECIAL 4 WEEK TECHNICAL & SCIENTIFIC MATH 426 COURSE
(80 hours)
4 week course from June 29 – July 24, 2015 (8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.)
This four week (80 hours) course is designed for students who have successfully completed Cultural,
Social and Technical Mathematics 414 and wish to bridge into Scientific and Technical Mathematics
506. This course is geared to students who need Scientific and Technical Mathematics 426 or
Scientific Mathematics 426 as a prerequisite for entry into certain CEGEP programs.
Students must be recommended by their school administration.

This three week (60 hours) course is designed for students who have successfully completed Science &
Technology 444/Applied Science & Technology 416 and wish to bridge into Chemistry 404 and/or
Physics 404. This course is also geared to students who need Science of the Environment 402 as a
prerequisite for entry into CEGEP programs.

Registration forms will be available through your school. Students are responsible for their own
transportation. Students will be required to show their current student identification card (with photo)
upon registration and before each exam.
Payment can be made by cash. No personal cheques, interac or credit payments will be accepted. In
exceptional circumstances, a payment schedule may be arranged with the Summer School Principal.
