THE INTENT OF HUDSON’S FOUNDATION IS TO PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS FOR
TOMBALL ISD STUDENTS WHO ARE PURSUING A DEGREE IN AN AGRICULTURAL

For the year 2015-2016 school year, the Hudson Folkerts Memorial Foundation (HFMF) will
award multiple scholarships to students entering an approved school of higher education.

PURPOSE OF SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS PROGRAM
To assist and encourage currently enrolled college student, who has a desire to further his/her
education at an institution of higher learning PURSUING A DEGREE IN A
AGRICULTURAL FIELD, whether it be a trade/technical school, college or university. This
application is for returning Foundation students applying for a HFMF College
Scholarship.

submitted
2) 500 WORD ESSAY (minimum) UPDATING HOW YOUR SCHOOL YEAR WENT
ALONG WITH ANY VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES YOU HAVE BEEN
INVOLVED WITH IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS INCLUDING ANY HFMF EVENTS.

The Scholarship Committee's decisions will be announced and students will be notified on
Sunday, May 17, 2015, Hudson’s 19th birthday.
SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT AND METHOD OF PAYMENT
Distribution of scholarship funds will begin when the HFMF Scholarship Committee is satisfied
with the student's proof of enrollment and a qualifying course of study is assured. A minimum
number of twelve (12) course hours per semester must be registered by the student with his/her
selected degree granting institution. Please e-mail requested sufficient proof to
