Dear Friend,
Last season was a great year in charitable giving for the Kids ‘N Community Foundation as
$576,000 in cash grants were donated to 29 different children’s charities in our area. This annual
donation was achieved through financial support from Caniacs, corporate partners and annual
fundraisers like the golf tournament.
On Monday, September 14th, the Hurricanes will take over Prestonwood Country Club for
the 17th Annual Kids ‘N Community Foundation Golf Tournament presented by BlueStaff/
BlueLine Associates. Foursomes will enjoy a round of golf with a Carolina Hurricanes player,
coach, alumnus, front office executive or broadcaster at the prestigious country club. Each
registered golfer will also receive a tournament gift bag valued over $250, complimentary
on-course snacks and beverages, entrance to the post-tournament reception, two lower-level
tickets to a regular season ‘Canes game, and two passes to a pre-game Thank You reception.
Registration for the tournament is officially open. Enclosed you will find pricing information,
registration options and sponsorship opportunities for our corporate partners. If you have

The Kids ‘N Community Foundation is a 501c3 organization; therefore, the majority of your
registration fee or sponsorship is tax deductible. Funds raised from the charity golf tournament
will be recycled into Kids ‘N Community Foundation cash grants, which will be awarded to
qualifying non-profit organizations during the 2015-16 season. Your participation in the golf
tournament will ensure that the health and education needs of children in the underserved
populations in our community are greatly improved.
