2 CHS Athletes Sign Intent Letters
Two Central High student athletes signed Letters of Intent to compete
in football at Arkansas Baptist College beginning this fall. Running
Back, Devontae Herred and Linebacker, Lamarius McGraw will
continue their academic and athletic careers at Arkansas Baptist
College located in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Eliza Miller Quiz Bowl Team
Wins Over Lee County
Two quiz bowl practice games were played among
Lee County and Eliza Miller Elementary on
February 12, 2015 at J. F. Wahl School with EMElementary winning both. Scores: Game 1 EMElem. 345 to Lee County’s 130; Game 2 EM-Elem.

remains undefeated for the year. Their next game is
scheduled at Marvell Elementary.
ISSUE 4
The Kindergarten classes at Eliza Miller Primary School
participated in various activities to celebrate the 100th
day of school. They counted by ones, fives and tens to
100. The Kindergarten classes also created crowns and
glasses to celebrate this day. The students also wrote
stories about what they wished they had 100 of. All in
all the kids had a blast with the number 100.
3rd Grade Students
Have S.W.A.G.
The third grade teachers at Eliza Miller Primary
School showed their students appreciation by
giving them a party for having so much S.W.A.G.
(Students with Amazing Grades). Every third
grader that made the honor roll participated in
fun, food, and dancing. Congratulations third
grade students on a job well done!
