With this brochure we are pleased to draw your attention to a major event that is of both actuarial and historical importance. Following the 1968 industry conference of insurance actuaries in Munich, Germany will
once again – 50 years later – become the focal point of actuarial expertise when Berlin hosts the International Congress of Actuaries (ICA) in 2018. Around 1,400 actuaries, academics and high-ranking representatives from the international insurance and financial industries as well as related institutions are expected in
Germany at the 31st International Congress of Actuaries from 4 to 8 June 2018. The International Congress
of Actuaries (ICA) is an event hosted by the International Actuarial Association (IAA) and the German Association of Actuaries (DAV) and is held every four years in different locations throughout the world. By
hosting the 2018 Congress Berlin joins a long line of attractive host cities such as Washington (2014), Cape
Town (2010) and Paris (2006).
Over four days, participants will enjoy a sophisticated, exacting and varied international conference itinerary with interesting presentations on specialist topics, will hear renowned guest speakers and be able to
take part in a wide range of social events. As a young, dynamic metropolis that is open to the world, Berlin
provides the ideal congress environment. Its unique mix of history, art, culture, music, lifestyle and entertainment makes it an attractive destination for actuaries from all over the world. Take advantage of this rare

LIST OF BENEFITS
Business workspace: Presentation of your logo in one of the business lounges for delegates and speakers that are equipped
with computers, printers and laptop workstations.
Bus transfer: Branding of the bus transfer on the gala evening. Your logo will be placed inside the bus and there will be your
own branded bus stop sign. Moreover, your company will be mentioned in the itinerary.
Candy corner: Branding of a sweet shop / candy kiosk that will be available to delegates throughout the congress.
City guides: You will have an advertisement in the city guide that will contain the main sights, a map of the underground network
and restaurant and nightlife recommendations that will be provided to all delegates and speakers.

These will be available to delegates and other interested parties after the Congress.
