Estate, New Delhi 110002 AN INTERNATIONAL ARTISTS RESIDENCY FROM 27 JULY TO 2 AUGUST 2015 EXPRESSION OF INTEREST The ICCR is organizing an International Artists Residency from 27 July to 2 August 2015 at Diu, India. Around 20 foreign artists (painters) from different countries and 10 Indian artists will participate in the Residency. Interested art curators / professional artists may contact ICCR for organizing this Artists Residency with their proposal and background in a sealed envelope addressed to Director(JK), ICCR, Azad Bhavan, I.P. Conceptualization, designing, layout, setting up, logistics, & execution including supervision Preparing of concept paper and the press release. correspondence / liaisoning with foreign/Indian artists Making minute to minute programme including sight seeing, Cultural evenings/ conducting of workshops/interactions during the Residency Arrangements of Media persons / PR / Publicity Arrangements of inauguration ceremony of the artist residency Suggestions for Indian artists which will be finalized by ICCR Arrangements of art material including canvas, colors etc. and making the same available at the venue of the art camp. Catalogues / brochures – curator will be responsible for writing editorial / curatorial notes, designing, proof reading, printing of the catalogues, etc. in consultation with the ICCR. Photography of the art works for printing in the catalogue Look after the technical arrangements (if required) like Screen, LCD, laptop, mike, printer at the venue. Authentification certificate (including copyrights) to be signed by the artists and submitting the same to the ICCR Designing of backdrops and banners required at the venues and Designing of bags, aprons, Identity cards and certificates to be given to the artists. Finalizing the name of the exhibition in consultation with the Council. Supervise display of the art works at Venue after proper framing / stretching of art works. Preparing the printing material including bio-profiles of the artists for the brochures/leaflets to be used at exhibition venue Interested curators/artists may kindly send their proposals to ICCR alongwith bio-profile and details of residencies organized previously and concept note etc. The curator should also specify the fees (inclusive of all the applicable taxes) he/she/they will charge for the project, which will involve complete conceptualization, coordination and management of the residency, the resultant exhibition, and the scope of work detailed above. Eligibility – Only the artists/curators who have the past experience of organizing at least two residencies may apply, alongwith documents in support of their meeting eligibility criteria. The short-listed curators will be invited to give their concept presentation at ICCR, New Delhi The Council shall have sole powers to reject/accept all or any of the EOIs.
