Dear Colleagues,
The lnformation and Communications Technology Office under the Department of Science
and Technology (DOST-ICTO) is pleased to invite you or your representative to be a part of
the Philippine delegation to the 51't Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation
Telecommunications and lnformation Working Group Meeting (APECTEL 51) which will be
held on May 11-16,20L5. The meeting venue will be in Paradise Garden, Station
3,
Manggayad, Boracay lsland, Malay, Aklan,
This meeting is important for us as the APEC TEL Strategic Action Plan 2Ot6-2020 will be first
presented in this meeting after its endorsement in the recently concluded 10th APEC
Telecommunications and lnformation Ministerial Meeting (TELMIN 10). Moreover, several
workshops and roundtable discussions will be held as part of APECTEL 51 as you can see in
the attached tentative program.
Being a part of the 2nd APEC Senior Officials'Meeting (SOM 2), the Administrative Circular,
Registration Form and other related documents needed to attend the said event may be
downloaded from www.icto.dost.gov.ph/apec-te1-2OL5l. Please submit the electronic copy
of your Registration Form together with an electronic copy of the delegate's photo in JPEG
file (should be between 50 kb-200 kb in size) and with a scanned copy of the government
issued lD in JPEG
file (not larger than 2MB in size) on or before May 3, Sunday to
[email protected]. Due to logistics limitation, we can accommodate only one (1) delegate
per organization. Please take note that travel and accommodation arrangements are for the
account of and to be arranged individually by each delegate or their respective organization.
