NATIONAL CONFERENCE
“Decentralisation and Local Autonomy”
Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM) is pleased to invite you to participate
in the National Conference: “Decentralisation and Local Autonomy”
on Wednesday, 13 May 2015, 10:00 – 12:30,
at Tirana International Hotel.
In the framework of “Monitoring and Assessment of the Decentralisation Process in Albania”
supported by Embassy of Switzerland in Albania, IDM has prepared an analysis of the drafting
process and content of the “National Crosscutting Strategy for Decentralization and Local
Governance (SKNDQV) 2015-2020”.
This conference aims to present the major findings of monitoring the drafting process, analysis of
the Decentralization Strategy and the indicators for monitoring the implementation of the Strategy
and the process of decentralization in Albania.
Participants in the event include local officials, local government associations, representatives of civil
society, MPs, representatives of central government, representatives of programmes in the local
governance field, donor community, representatives from the diplomatic corps and missions.
