About International Forum on Disability Management 2016
The International Disability Management Forum 2016 marks history in Asia as it is the
ﬁrst time Kuala Lumpur, the jewel in the crown of Asia will play host to this great
biennial event.
IFDM, which is the only global conference dedicated to in-depth discussion of problems,
trends, and best practices in disability management is a catalyst in addressing issues of
disability on a world stage. IFDM provides the only forum with delegates from across the
globe representing the health, safety, and workers’ compensation communities. A
diverse group of employers, workers, risk managers, unions, practitioners, jurisdictional
and local government agencies, the insurance industry, policy makers and the public
travel to meetings to participate in presentations, discussions, and workshops.
The IFDM 2016 in Kuala Lumpur is a conference to look forward to as issues, problems
and challenges surrounding Disability Management will be discussed on this world stage
together with world renown and national experts in this ﬁeld. This conference, while
focussing on disability management will include a wider perspective of papers and
presentations. The IFDM 2016 will feature papers on policies, good practices, case
studies, universal designs (architectural solutions) and technology which is aimed to give
its audience a wealth of experience and ideas in the ﬁeld of disability management.
