All resolutions supported by a petition of at least 50 signatures of voting members of the 2015 Assembly are due to the Secretary of the Synod by 10:45 AM, Saturday, June 6. Deliver to the dais at the front of the Assembly Hall. 2. Each speech from the floor on all resolutions and motions will be limited to 3 minutes. 3. Voting may be accomplished by use of voting cards, with green representing an affirmative vote and red representing a negative vote. The chair may call for affirmative and negative votes simultaneously or separately. 4. A member who has spoken on the pending question(s) may not move the previous question(s). 5. A motion to end debate by moving the previous question shall apply only to the immediately preceding motion. 6. A motion to end debate on all matters on the floor or more than the immediately pending question is not in order. 7. When a substitute motion is made, secondary amendments may be offered first to the original motion. After all secondary amendments to the original motion have been disposed of, secondary amendments to the substitute motion may be offered. When all amendments to the substitute motion have been disposed of, the vote shall be taken on whether the substitute motion is to be substituted as the original motion or be rejected. 8. Any recount must be ordered by a majority vote before the end of the assembly at which the voting result was announced.
