Route
The walk will start in front of the CSRA
Humane Society and will continue onto the
Augusta Canal, loop back, and finish in front
of the CSRA Humane Society. A shorter
route will also be marked off for those not
desiring to walk the longer route. Water
stops for pets will be along the route.

Paws in the Park
On Saturday, June 13th, the CSRA
Humane Society will hold its eighth
annual Pet Walk, Paws in the Park. All
proceeds benefit our homeless pets.
The walk begins at 10:00 A.M. with
registration beginning at 9:30 A.M. at
the Pet Center, 425 Wood Street (at the
corner of Milledge Road by Lake
Olmstead). All pets being walked
should be healthy, at least 4 months
old or older, and current on
vaccinations including rabies. There
will be refreshments and specialty
booths from our local vendors. Want
to socialize with or bathe one of our
pets? You are welcome to come to the
shelter between the hours of 1:00 P.M.
and 4:00 P.M. to socialize with or
bathe one our pets for a small
donation of $15. The CSRA Humane
Society will also host a microchip
clinic from 10:00 A.M.—noon for pet
guardians who need to have their pet
(s) microchipped. (Please call the Pet
Center to make an appointment.) We
will be open for pet adoptions from
11:00 A.M. to 4:00 P. M.
