THE GREAT EASTER KEG HUNT
WBZA CONTEST RULES 2015
These contest rules are specific to the above contest conducted by Entercom Rochester LLC d/b/a WBZA 98.9 The Buzz
(collectively, the “Station”). Except to the extent specifically set forth below with respect to this specific contest, the
Station’s general contest rules apply to this contest as well. A copy of these specific contest rules and the Station’s general
contest rules are available at the Station’s studio at High Falls Studios, 70 Commercial Street, Rochester, NY 14614
during regular business hours and on the contest page on the Station’s website at www.rochesterbuzz.com. To the extent
that the general contest rules differ from these rules, these rules will govern and control with respect to this
Contest.
How to Enter
1.
No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to participate, must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older to
win, The Great Easter Keg Hunt (the “Contest”).
2.
Before 7:20am (ET) on Tuesday, March 31, 2015, Station representatives will hide an actual (empty) keg, with
both the 98.9 The Buzz WBZA and the Beers of the World logos on it (“The Great Easter Keg”), somewhere in
the Station listening area.
a) A picture of the official Great Easter Keg will be available at www.rochesterbuzz.com.
b) The Great Easter Keg will NOT be hidden on any public or private roadways, or on private
property such as Cemeteries, Golf Courses, businesses, people’s front yards, etc…
c) The Great Easter Keg will NOT be buried or attached to any man made structure. It will be
in plain sight when viewed from the proper angle.
d) Station is not responsible for leaves, trash and/or other items that may cover The Great
Easter Keg due to weather and other uncontrollable circumstances.
e) There is only one (1) Great Easter Keg in this Contest, and only the one (1) official Great
Easter Keg will be accepted as the winning keg.
3.
To participate, beginning at approximately 7:20am (ET) on Tuesday March 31, 2015 and until either 6:20pm
(ET) on Friday April 3, 2015 or the point at which The Great Easter Keg has been located and brought to the
Station (whichever is soonest), listen to 98.9 The Buzz at approximately 7:20am (ET), 9:20am (ET), 11:20am
(ET), 3:20pm (ET), and 6:20pm (ET) for clues as to where The Great Easter Keg is hidden. In the event that The
Great Easter Keg has not been located and brought to the Station by time the last clue has been announced at
approximately 6:20pm (ET) on Friday April 3, 2015, NO ADDITIONAL NEW CLUES WILL BE
ANNOUNCED, but the Contest will continue until either Monday April 6, 2015 at 12:00pm (ET) or the point at
which The Great Easter Keg has been located and brought into the Station (whichever is soonest).
a) Station will announce up to, but not more than, twenty (20) clues as to where The Great Easter Keg
is hidden.
b) STATION WILL NOT POST ANY KEYWORD ON ITS WEBSITE, PROVIDE A KEYWORD
ON ANY SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM OR BY ANY OTHER ELECTRONIC MEANS, BUT
MAY CHOOSE, AT ITS SOLE DISCRETION, TO REPEAT CLUES ASSOCIATED WITH
THE CONTEST OVER THE TELEPHONE ON ANY OF THE STATION TELEPHONE
NUMBERS.
c) STATION HAS NO OBLIGATION, LIABILITY, OR RESPONSIBILITY WHATSOEVER
IF INDIVIDUALS WHO DO NOT LISTEN TO 98.9 THE BUZZ RECEIVE CONTEST
CLUES FROM THIRD PARTIES SUCH AS OTHER LISTENERS.
d) WARNING! ONLINE LISTENERS TO STREAMED BROADCASTS MAY EXPERIENCE
A LAG IN TRANSMISSIONS DUE TO BUFFERING LIMITATIONS. CONTEST
PARTICIPANTS SHOULD NOT RELY ON STREAMED BROADCASTS.
4.
No trespassing and/or destruction of private or public property are necessary to find The Great Easter Keg. No
risk-taking is required to locate The Great Easter Keg. Station is not responsible in any way for the acts of
contestants. Contestants must comply with all federal, state and local laws and regulations. ANY
CONTESTANT WHO STATION DETERMINES HAS OR MAY HAVE BROKEN ANY FEDERAL,
STATE, AND LOCAL LAW AS PART OF PARTICIPATING IN THIS CONTEST WILL BE
AUTOMATICALLY DISQUALIFIED. Contestants must not harm or endanger themselves or other persons
or property. Any contestant that Station determines may have created a public hazard, caused interference with or
destruction of property and/or utilized public safety resources will be disqualified.

Station reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any contestant who has cheated, failed to provide the
one (1) original Great Easter Keg, or any other suspected fraudulent activity.
How to Win
6.
The first participant to successfully locate The Great Easter Keg, follows the instructions attached to it, and
brings it to the Station’s studio at 70 Commercial Street, Rochester, NY 14614 during regular business hours
8:30am ET – 5:30pm ET, Monday through Friday, BUT BY NO LATER THAN 12:00pm on Monday April 6,
2015, subject to confirmation of eligibility and compliance with these Contest rules, will be the one (1) Grand
Prize Winner of this Contest.
a) In the event that no participant locates The Great Easter Keg, or in the event that a participant who
does locate The Great Easter Keg fails to bring it to the Station’s studio by 12:00pm on Monday
April 6, 2015, this Contest will end and no Grand Prize will be awarded.
b) Only one (1) person (if any) will be recognized as the Grand Prize Winner of this contest. The
Grand Prize will not be awarded (if at all) to a team or group of individuals.
c) The Grand Prize in this Contest will only be awarded to the one (1) person who physically
possesses the keg and brings it to the Station by not later than 12:00pm on Monday April 6, 2015,
subject to confirmation of eligibility and compliance with these Contest rules.
d) In the event there is a dispute over which one (1) individual properly possesses the keg (as
determined in Station’s sole discretion), Station reserves the right (but is not obligated) to not
award the Grand Prize.

7.
Station will award up to one (1) Grand Prize in this Contest, to the one (1) verified Grand Prize Winner (as
described in Section 6 above). The one (1) Grand Prize in this Contest is valued at approximately $1,548.00 and
consists of:
 Four (4) season passes to Darien Lake Theme Park in Darien Center, NY during the 2015 season
valued at $280
 One (1) Stihl FS38 String Trimmer compliments of Lakeland Equipment valued at $129
 Two (2) pavilion tickets at CMAC Performing Arts Center in Canandaigua, NY for each of the
following 2015 shows:

9. This contest is a contest of skill and does not involve any element of chance and, accordingly, odds of winning are not
applicable.
