May 15-17, 2015
Dedicated to László Székely's 60th Birthday!
The Cumberland Conference on Combinatorics, Graph Theory, and Computing is an annual conference
that brings together internationally known researchers, southeastern university and college professors,
industrial mathematicians, computer scientists, post-docs, and graduate and undergraduate students,
to discuss the latest advances in discrete mathematics and computer science. Particular efforts are
made to include faculty and students from smaller institutions throughout the region. Each year,
a different university in the Cumberland region hosts the conference, usually in the month of May,
immediately after the end of the spring semester. This year, the University of South Carolina is pleased
to host the Twenty-Eighth Cumberland Conference, dedicated to László Székely's 60th Birthday, on
its Columbia campus, from May 15 – 17, 2015. We are excited to announce that the following leading
researchers have agreed to participate as plenary speakers:
József Balogh
Gyula O.H. Katona
University of Illinois at
Urbana-Champaign
Alfréd Rényi Institute of
Mathematics
József Solymosi
Catherine Yan
University of British
Columbia
