2015 OSU MATERIALS WEEK Join us for 2015 OSU Materials Week, the annual showcase of materials-allied research at The Ohio State University and beyond. Since 2008, The Ohio State University Institute for Materials Research has hosted Materials Week, an annual conference that brings together hundreds of researchers from OSU, other universities, national and government labs, and private industry at plenary sessions, technical talks, and poster sessions covering the full spectrum of materialsallied research. Last year’s conference welcomed over 300 attendees, featured nearly 100 student posters, and had significant non-local participation from academia and industry with representatives from 32 universities, government labs and industry collaborators. 2015 OSU MATERIALS WEEK at the Blackwell on OSU’s Columbus Campus MAY 12 TUE - 15 FRI, 2015 2015 OSU Materials Week will be held May 12-15, 2015 at the Blackwell Inn and Conference Center on Ohio State’s Columbus campus. Technical Sessions will focus on the latest advances in the full spectrum of materials innovation with a special focus on sustainability, including: Cradle-to-Cradle Design and Manufacturing Emergent Materials Lightweighting Energy Efficient Systems Energy Harvesting and Storage http://imr.osu.edu/seminarsandevents/materials-week/ E337 Scott Laboratory 201 West 19th Avenue Columbus, Ohio 43210 For more information, including confirmed speakers, registration details, and schedules for past Materials Week conferences: Institute for Materials Research The Ohio State University Policy, Awareness and Globalization Preliminary Agenda Online registration is available at http://imr.osu.edu/ seminarsandevents/materials-week/ :: Registration fee :: $35 for Current Students $45 for All Others On-site: $45 for Current Students $55 for All Others Thursday, May 14 Tuesday, May 12 1:30 PM Welcome and introductions 2:00 PM IMR Keynote Address : Blackwell Ballroom 8:30 AM Registration 9:00 AM Cross Cutting Session : Materials and Sustainability: An Industry Perspective (II) • Glenn Daehn, The Ohio State University • Duane Detweiler, Honda R&D • Lance Criscuolo, Zyvex Technologies • Srini Rajagopalan, ExxonMobil • Jon Blank, GE Aviation Nathan S.
