A New course by Inchin Closer This summer, Inchin Closer introduces a new business-­‐focused program -­‐ How to succeed in China. The program is designed as a practical course to help you understand China's complex business environment and succeed in it. Why do you need this course?
With many Indian businesses already having some presence in China, the real differentiator and key to success lies in operating efficiently and effectively. Growing your business in China takes an in-­‐depth understanding of the country, her people and practices and knowing how she is evolving. The program is ideal for business persons considering an entry or expansion of their business in China or professionals who want a more well-­‐rounded understanding of the country. This course is open to all past and present Inchin Closer language students as well as business executives interested in knowing more about China. What does the course cover?
Developed on Inchin Closers substantial, hands on China experience and by partnering with experts in the space, Inchin Closer is ideally positioned to bring you the practical knowledge and on the ground experiences that makes this program unique. How to succeed in China is a 12-­‐hour course that will cover: • Chinese business etiquette • Acceptable and unacceptable corporate practices in China • China's geographical differences – variations in doing business across the nation • Decoding major government policies and laws for foreign businesses • Understanding the new Chinese consumer. • New avenues of growth for Indian businesses and trade and investments between the neighbours. Modalities
• Selected Indian and Chinese faculty with practical experience in both China and India have created a concise program with an effective conclusion to enable your personal business growth in China. • The course will comprise of 2 sections, the first taught by Inchin Closer experts will focus on securing factual, imperative information on China, India’s largest trading partner. • The next 6 hours will enable students to engage with guest faculty -­‐ experts from various fields – industry, trade and services to learn from shared operational experiences in China. • To conclude, students will be given case studies to apply the practical knowledge learnt in class to concrete corporate examples and their businesses in China. • Students will also be given a China handbook, with useful phrases and information on China as part of the course material.
