BOMBAAT BENGALURU
Cosmopolitan Bombaat Bengaluru is the hub of India’s booming IT industry, blessed with a benevolent climate and a
burgeoning drinking, dining and shopping scene is the nation’s most progressive city. Come, experience the new face
of India as you’ll encounter many locals chatting in English instead of local dialects and getting around in jeans and heavy
metal band T-shirts rather than traditional attire.
The surge of development and urbanisation continually over the last decade has pushed the boundaries outward but
Bengaluru has also taken care to preserve its greens and its colonial heritage.
Bengaluru, has been chosen to host IAC this year as it houses headquarters of many Indian technology organizations
such as ISRO, Infosys and Wipro. It is home to many educational and research institutions in India, such as Indian
Institute of Science (IISc), Indian Institute of Management (Bangalore) (IIMB), National Institute of Design, Bangalore
(NID R&D Campus), National Law School of India University (NLSIU) and National Institute of Mental Health and
Neurosciences (NIMHANS). Numerous state-owned aerospace and defence research organisations, such as Bharat
Electronics, Hindustan Aeronautics and National Aerospace Laboratories are located here. Many active associations
be it Aerospace, IT, Engineering are situated in Bengaluru, which is one of the reason for IEEE to choose Bengaluru as
their India ofce.
Our IAC 2015 design is inspired by the Channapatna toys, a particular form of wooden toys (and dolls), a traditional
craft of Bengaluru which is protected as a geographical indication (GI) under the World Trade Organization.

FEEDBACK
We have been participating as a sponsor in
the India Association Congress for the
past 3 years. We see a lot of value in these
conferences where a large number of
association representatives share their
experiences for the benet of all. In terms
or organising the conference, we see
innovation and improvement in every
edition and the last one in Jaipur was very
well done. Best wishes to CIMGlobal in this
endeavour.

It was our great pleasure to attend the
3rd India Association Congress (IAC) 2013
as we had a chance to network with various
association industries in India.
Also, the speaker showed their in-depth
knowledge in their own areas which helped
us to understand more on conference
industries in India.

The IAC has been a very sincere and much needed
attempt to create a platform for the Association
Meetings Segment in India. And precisely for this
reason, The Taj Group has been associated with IAC
since its very inception. It has been a great
experience so far as IAC presents a great
opportunity to meet with a spectrum of Associations
and their Managers. Each year, we have been
witnessing IAC's growth in terms of quality of
delegates and prole of speakers.
The commitment of the organizing team of IAC
leads me to believe that this congregation will only
get better this year as well.

For us, it made a good business choice to
participate in the 4th India Association Congress
(IAC) 2014 held in Jaipur. It was an excellent
opportunity to network with association heads from
India and overseas. Apart from direct business
opportunities generated, it was a great learning
experience as well.

FEEDBACK
Indian Association Congress was an
excellent platform to network with many
Indian Associations within a short span of
two days. It provided us with a business
opportunity and indeed was a value
addition in terms of event organisation.
The panel discussions were very focussed
and informative. Wishing the IAC team
success in organising many more of these
events.

The event was so very well organized and
the content hopefully of great value to the
attendees. The delegates were very
engaged and based on the quality and
quantity of questions and participation,
there was a great deal of learning taking
place in addition to the excellent
networking opportunities.

The 4th India Association Congress was an amazing
opportunity to connect with so many talented and
dedicated leaders from the association community in
India and to gain new insights about the role of
associations in India. I was impressed by the active
networking among colleagues and truly appreciate
the warm welcome I received. It is clear to me that
the association leaders at the IAC want to make
their associations the best that they can be.
Associations touch so many vital sectors of our
communities. As is true the world over, the work
that associations in India do truly helps to make for a
better, safer and smarter society.
Ms. Arlene A. Pietranton

Profound change is happening in India and around
the world. The 4th IAC is the ideal venue for those
involved in its trade associations and professional
societies, to debate the opportunities for the
development of the association profession in India
and the global association leadership
