This annual event is an educational and fun event for anyone
involved in the wastewater industry. The event provides an
opportunity to apply day-to-day skills through a series of
hands-on activities and written quizzes.

Here’s how it works!
Five committees—Laboratory, Operations & Maintenance,
Residuals & Biosolids, Collection Systems and Safety—create
challenges in their respective fields. Teams consisting of four
people from either the same facility or from several facilities
compete against each other by following instructions for each
challenge. Teams who have members from different
disciplines in the industry will have an advantage over those
who don’t.
Winning team receives paid
travel expenses to
participate in the national
challenge at WEFTEC 2015
in Chicago!
