ABSTRACT Leadership is that outstanding aspect of management which manifest ability, creativeness, initiative, Inventiveness and which gains the confidence, cooperation and willingness of the people to work by organizing and building morale. It always involves attempts on the part of the leader (influencer) to affect the behavior of a followers (the influenced) or followers in a situation. We can say that effective leadership is one of the major managerial challenges which have now created pressure on managers to perform at high levels in the leadership role. Therefore this paper deals with analyzing the effectiveness of various combinations of leadership style which can help in motivating and activating the entire team in the organization to lead in today’s business scenario.
