and off the park.
A big welcome to everyone to Inglewood
for Day 1 of season 2015.
Everyone has been very welcoming and
positive.
It’s been an enjoyable pre-season and
we are very much looking forward to
beginning the season proper today.
We believe we have added quality and
depth to what was already a good squad.
The introduction of our Inglewood
Academy shows the pathway the club
are committed to taking and with the
continued excellent work from the club’s
Technical Director, Goran Stajic, the club
is ensuring the junior set up is in good
hands and the club, and senior set up will
reap the benefits of this foundation in
the future.
Unfortunately before a ball has even
been kicked we have lost David Perich
to a long term injury which is always
disappointing, but I’m sure he will be
back better than ever in 2016.
Our junior numbers are at an all-time
high – and the club has very good people
behind the scenes putting I the hard
yards to ensure the club strives toward
success.
We have added quality players such
as David Micevski, Jovo Pavlovic, Rikki
Smith, Aleks Vrteski & Kenny Keogh to
name a few.
Best wishes for the season to all
Inglewood teams for 2015.
Our preseason form was indifferent
with performances but in general the
approach to training form the players
within the squad has been outstanding.
It will be a massive test for us as Cockburn
are very good side, well coached,
organised and have quality players and
enjoyed a successful preseason campaign
so we will need to be at our best.
There have been numerous additions
to the squad from last season and we
anticipate their influence will help propel
Inglewood into the top 4 teams in the
league.
Today we
Inglewood.
Results didn’t quite go the way we’d
like, but we were able to identify areas
needing improvement, work toward our
preferred formation and players coming
in and out of the squad to finalise the
group we are looking to attack the
season with.
Cockburn
to
Having played them in the night series
competition we can be confident we can
take it to them, but are also aware of
their strengths.
I’m sure it will be a great game.
Wish all teams best of luck today and for
the season.
We will be aiming to play to our potential
and maintain a level of consistency in our
approach toward training and games.
Since having been appointed as senior
coach I have been impressed by the
direction the club are heading both on

Thank You,
Michael Garcia

Under 20’s
I would like to welcome the Members, players, coaches
& supporters from Inglewood United and Cockburn United to
Inglewood Stadium for the first round of the 2015 WA NPL season.
Over the past 4 months my coaching staff & I have overhauled the
2014 squad with the familiar faces of Dodgson, Pavic, Ewen, D’Souza,
Papas, Martin & Eldridge remaining, joined by the promotion of
players from the 2014 18’s squad Panaia, Bako-Kirkpatrick, Preston
and Ognjenovic.
2015 squad sees Achamyeleh, Shaw & Atkins return to the Inglewood
fold and we have strengthened with McClymans, Green, Dias and
Adolphus joining the Club.
The team will be led by Travis Preston as Captain for the 2015
season with Hayden Dodgson to be the Vice Captain. They will have
the support of strong and experienced players in Dario Pavic, James
Atkins & Mitchell McClymans joining them as part of the leadership
group.
2015 sees high expectations of this group and none greater than my
own and that of the players on what expectation we have as a group
and as individuals.
We have worked hard during the preseason and I look forward to
seeing the team and the individuals within the team grow and strive
to for fill the goals we have set.
All the best to both teams for the game & for the 2015 season.

Under 18’s
Welcome to Inglewood Stadium for the first competitive
game of the 2015 season for Inglewood United SC NPL U18s.
Finally the season begins. The IUSC U18’s team has had a long, but
overall very positive pre-season and we are now looking forward to
continuing the season on the same note. As a playing and coaching
group we have been striving to create a professional footballing
environment that will serve all those involved well in this season and
beyond.
In pre-season training we have been working hard on developing a
playing style that is proactive and will lead to good playing performances,
and importantly, will ensure the players are improving throughout
the season. We have played pre-season games against NPL and State
league opposition and the whole playing group has contributed to
some very positive performances. We look forward to a tough test
against Cockburn today and the rest of the upcoming NPL season.

Technical Director
Bring on the 2015 NPL season.
the teams are focused and
looking forward to the start of the
season against Cockburn. Cockburn
City as we all know are always
competitive and well organised, we
welcome them to Hamer Parade
and I am sure the football spectacle
through all the teams will be of a
very high standard.
I would like to welcome the
players, coaches, families, sponsors,
committee members and the
supporters of Inglewood United.
We look forward to your continued
support and we remain committed
to working with all of you
throughout the year. I would like
to thank our committee and club
volunteers for their commitment
and hard work over the off season
and pre-season.
Under my tutelage as TD of IUSC
we have developed a vision and
philosophy at the club to ensure
all teams play a proactive brand of
football with the emphasis on junior
and youth development. These vital
building blocks of IUSC ensures
our players will continue to flourish
well under the National Curriculum
which has been shaped by Football
Federation Australia.
Our football trials began in
October 2014 which was the start
of a long process and these would
not have been possible without the
coaches and volunteer efforts, your
continued support is instrumental
to what you are seeing this weekend.
I personally am thankful to each
and every one of you. To our team
manager’s thank you for all your
hard work to this point and getting
all the players ready for what should
be a positive and exciting season. I
for one know how the coaches are
working extremely hard educating
themselves to prepare the players
to improve on last season’s results.
Finally I want to wish everyone at
Inglewood United from our MiniRoos through to our senior team,
all the very best for the season,
both on and off the park.

their way up the table.”
Micevski is firmly established himself
as one of Western Australia’s scene’s
premier ball players. Spells with
Perth SC, Western Knights, Balcatta
and Stirling reaped him four league
Champions medals along with four
Fairest and Best prizes. However, the
crowning achievement was without a
doubt winning in the 2009 Gold Medal
as a Knights player.
And it’s not only on the local stage
that Micevski’s talents have also been
recognised. He wore Perth Glory
colours for two seasons, gaining 25
A-League appearances, and represented
Australia at Under-23 level. “Helping
Australia qualify for the Beijing 2008
Olympic Games is something I’m very
proud of,” said Micevski, who played
one season for Indonesian side Solo
prior to a short stay with Myanmar
champions Yangon United.
“I’m very happy to be signing for
Inglewood, it’ll be an honour to pull on
the Gold and Blue,” said Micevski, who
snared 16 goals last year for Stirling
Lions. “I’m excited to get to work with
Michael and to start training with the
squad. They say things change quickly in
football and having some close friends
at Inglewood helped with my decision
to join the club.”
Micevski intends to continue that
success into 2015.“The top four should
be our ambition and I feel we have
the player to achieve that,” he stated.
“There’s a lot of quality and experience
in the Inglewood team, which is needed
for a successful season. I’m hoping to
pass on my experience and knowledge,
especially to the younger boys, to help
achieve the clubs’ goals.”
“Inglewood is a club heading in the
right direction,” the 29-year old
added. “Club president Luke Martin
and coach Michael Garcia have both
expressed their desire in making the
club successful both on and off the
field. I’m looking forward to the season
starting. I’m confident we can do well
and, hopefully, I can help the team push
