CHOOSE HOW TO PARTICIPATE!
Taking care of our home planet is an everyday commitment, but this month, in honor of
Earth Day, we are especially focused on keeping our land healthy and safe. During the
week of April 20 -24, you are invited to get involved and participate as Innsbrook continues
its green activism that started on “day one” in 1982.
With lots of ways to participate, you can do your part and even have a bit of fun with your
colleagues. On Thursday, April 23 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the Go Green Festival will
get you out of the office with food trucks, a farmer’s market and multiple recycling events.
Bring old electronics, documents for shredding and donations for Goodwill, and lighten
your home’s clutter for spring while you’re at it! Plus, visit the Chick-fil-A cow handing out
FREE coupons!

chance to win an additional $50 gift card!
Whether you have business documents or personal papers that are no
longer needed, Innsbrook’s Go Green Committee invites you to take
advantage of this free shredding event. Shredding services managed
and secured by ProShred Security.

IT’S READY—SET—GO TRIATHLON
On May 3, the Liberty University Online Academy East Coast Triathlon Festival
returns to Innsbrook as one of three national races in which youth and junior
elite triathletes compete for a chance to qualify for the National Championships
held in Ohio in August. Now in its third year, the day of racing has become an
early season highlight for local, national and Canadian athletes. Many of these
athletes are competing to become future Olympians with the goal of making
the team in 2016 or 2020.
The festival is very spectator-friendly, as all races are completed on a course
completely closed to traffic with multiple loops encircling the viewing area.
Bring your entire family out to the race and be part of one of the most unique
triathlon experiences in the country. Volunteer to help on the day of the event or
join us to cheer on the athletes. Some 1,000 spectators are anticipated for this
major sporting event.
The race and expo will be held at 4600 Cox Road in the Markel parking lots with
Innsbrook as its beautiful backdrop. Stay tuned to Innsbrook.com for more details.

In our 30th year as one of central Virginia’s longest-running midweek
concert series, we are doing it up right, bringing in top acts to kick it off —
3 days of action-packed concerts on our first-ever long weekend event.
With Foreigner kicking it off Friday, May 29, Lee Brice ramping it up
Saturday, May 30, and the perpetual crowd pleaser The Wailers with
Rusted Root rounding out the weekend Sunday, May 31, this has the
potential to be a truly historic season.

reserve a corporate tent.
Proceeds benefit The National Constitution Plaque
Initiative and The American Constitution Spirit Foundation.
Fast forward the season’s schedule and we have Michael McDonald,
Buddy Guy, Boyz II Men, and the Beach Boys just to get the party
started. This is shaping up to be the biggest concert schedule ever, so
stay tuned to innsbrook.com and innsbrookafterhours.com.
