Blitz to the Bowl (the “Contest”)
CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS (the “Rules”)
This Contest is intended to promote and bring awareness around Intact Insurance
Company’s products to the brokerage community and its customers. Please note that you
are under no obligation to participate should you feel that participating would
compromise your obligations to provincial regulatory bodies for insurance brokers and
to your customers. You can opt out of participating in this Contest at any time.
We understand and support you in fulfilling your ethical duties as an insurance broker,
advocating for your customers and doing what is best in protecting their interests. We
encourage complete transparency with customers. As this Contest could be seen as a
sales incentive, we would like to remind you of your duty to disclose any potential or
actual conflicts of interest associated with a transaction or recommendation of an
insurance product to your customers.
CONTEST PERIOD
1. The Contest is being held by Intact Insurance Company (the “Contest Sponsor”),
beginning on 12:00 am MST on April 6, 2015 until 11:59pm MST on November 30,
2015 (the “Contest Period”).
The Contest Sponsor reserves the right to permit its subsidiaries and affiliated companies
and each of their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives,
advertising or promotional agencies (“Agents”) to perform all or any portion of the
activities necessary in connection with this Contest.
ELIGIBILITY
2. (a) The Contest is open to all duly licensed brokerages and their brokers aged 18 and
over located in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Saskatchewan or the Northern
Territories, who offer for sale, Contest Sponsor’s Commercial Lines Property and
Casualty insurance products and services, Contest Sponsor’s Commercial Auto insurance
products and services, and/or Contest Sponsor’s Surety products and services (“Eligible
Persons”).
2 (b) Employees, agents and representatives of the Contest Sponsor, its subsidiaries and
wholly owned brokerages (other than Canada Brokerlink), advertising and promotion
agencies, suppliers of goods, prizes and services related to the Contest, any other persons
directly related to the holding of this Contest, as well as their immediate family (father,
mother, brothers, sisters, children), their legal or common-law spouse and any individuals
with whom these employees, representatives and agents reside do not qualify as Eligible
Persons.
2. (c) Brokerages and their brokers must be duly licensed at the time the prizes are drawn
to qualify as Eligible Persons.
HOW TO ENTER

3. NO PURCHASE REQUIRED. Eligible Persons can only enter the Contest as a
brokerage. A promotional package will be sent to the Principal Broker and the Principal
Broker will decide whether or not to enter the contest as a brokerage. All brokerages and
their brokers must meet eligibility requirements above. There are two ways to win: (1)
Win the Blitz or (2) Random Draw, further described below.
3(a) Entering to Win the Blitz:
(i) To sign up, Eligible Persons must visit www.intactblitztothebowl.com
(the “Website”) and provide the brokerage’s name, address, phone
number, number of producers at the brokerage and master broker code
by April 2, 2015 (“Participating Brokerage”).
(ii) Each time a broker at a Participating Brokerage binds a new Intact
Insurance Company (the “Insurer”) Commercial Property and Casualty
or Commercial Auto policy with a premium in an aggregate amount of
at least $10,000 during the Contest Period, the Contest Sponsor will
track and add the new policy the total amount of premiums written for
new business during the Contest Period for the Participating Brokerage,
as applicable. All written policies must comply with Insurer’s
underwriting requirements in the normal course of business.
(iii) Each time a broker at a Participating Brokerage binds a new Insurer
surety account that generates at least $10,000 in premium (including
service fee) during the Contest Period, the Contest Sponsor will track
and add the new account to the total amount of premiums written for
new business during the Contest Period for the Participating Brokerage,
as applicable. All written policies and accounts must comply with
Insurer’s underwriting requirements in the normal course of business.
3(b) Entering to Win the Random Draw:
(i)
To sign up, Eligible Persons must visit the Website and provide the
brokerage’s name, address, phone number, number of producers at the
brokerage and master broker code by April 2, 2015 (“Participating
Brokerage”).
(ii)
Once registered, the Participating Brokerage will be entered into the
draw. The random draw is not dependent on the Participating
Brokerage binding a policy or account during the Contest Period.
PRIZE
4. There will be a total of twenty-one (21) Super Bowl trips available for the Contest
(“Prize”). Each Prize includes a ticket to the Super Bowl 50, transportation,
accommodations, meals and activities. Each Prize is valued at approximately $10,000
CAD.
Prizes must be accepted as awarded. They cannot be converted into cash, substituted,
transferred to another person or refunded, subject to what is provided hereunder. Prizes
are subject to any restrictions from issuing suppliers and retailers.
Super Bowl is a registered trademark of the National Football League. The National
Football League is not a sponsor of, nor a participant in this promotion.

4(a) Twelve (12) Prizes will be awarded at the end of the Contest Period to Participating
Brokerages, who have the highest total amount of premiums written pursuant to article
3(a)(ii) and who fulfill the requirements set out in article 6(a) below. For clarity, Prizes
will be awarded to the top twelve (12) Participating Brokerages who at the end of the
Contest Period meet the eligibility criteria outlined in article 2 above.
4(b) One (1) Prize will be awarded at the end of the Contest Period to the Participating
Brokerage who has the most new surety business during the Contest Period that generates
over $10,000 CAD in premium (including service fee) pursuant to article 3(a)(iii) and
who fulfills the requirements set out in article 6(a) below.
4(c) Five (5) Prizes will be awarded at the end of the Contest Period to the Principal
Brokers of the five (5) Participating Brokerages that have the highest net premium
increase at the end of the Contest Period. For clarity, Prizes will be awarded to the top
five (5) Principal Brokers of Participating Brokerages who at the end of the Contest
Period meet the eligibility criteria outlined in article 2 above.
4(d) Three (3) Prizes will be awarded by random draw as further described below in
article 6(c) below.
The Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, non-refundable, has no cash
surrender value and must be accepted by the Winner, defined below, as awarded. The
Contest Sponsor does not make any express or implied warranty about the Prizes, and, as
such, are not responsible for any dissatisfaction with the Prizes. The Contest Sponsor
reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event that any of the
specified Prizes is unavailable due to circumstances beyond the Contest Sponsor’
control. Arrangements will be made by the Contest Sponsor to deliver the Prize to the
Winner. The Winner must meet all other eligibility criteria as well as any applicable
company policies of the Contest Sponsor.
TAXES
5. Other charges and surcharges may apply to prizes, and are the sole responsibility of
the winner.
SELECTION
6(a) In order to award the Prizes pursuant to articles 4(a) and 4(b), each Participating
Brokerage selected pursuant to articles 4(a) and 4(b), meeting the eligibility criteria
herein, will be contacted by the by the Contest Sponsor through e-mail (“Selected
Brokerage”). The Selected Brokerage is then fully responsible for choosing one of its
brokers to fulfill the requirements below and receive the Prize (“Selected Broker”). The
Selected Broker will then have ten (10) days to respond to the Contest Sponsor and
correctly answer a time-limited, skill-testing question, and sign and complete a “Release
Form” to be declared a “Winner”. If the Selected Broker fails to:
a) respond within the allotted time;
b) correctly answer the time-limited, skill-testing question;
c) complete the Release Form; or
d) is ineligible for any reason,

the next Participating Brokerage with the next highest amount of premiums written
during the Contest Period will be contacted until a Winner is declared for each Prize. One
(1) Prize will be awarded to each Winner.
6(b) In order to award the Prizes pursuant to 4(b), the Principle Broker selected pursuant
to 4(b), meeting the eligibility criteria herein, will be contacted by the by the Contest
Sponsor through e-mail (“Selected Principal Broker”). The Selected Principal Broker
will be contacted to fulfill the requirements below and will then have ten (10) days to
respond to the Contest Sponsor and correctly answer a time-limited, skill-testing
question, and sign and complete a “Release Form” to be declared a “Winner”. If the
Selected Principal Broker fails to:
a) respond within the allotted time;
b) correctly answer the time-limited, skill-testing question;
c) complete the Release Form; or
d) is ineligible for any reason,
the next Principal Broker with the next highest amount of net premiums increase during
the Contest Period will be contacted until a Winner is declared for each Prize. One (1)
Prize will be awarded to each Winner.
6(c) A random draw for the three (3) Prizes pursuant to article 4(c) will take place at the
office of the Contest Sponsor, 1200 321 6 Avenue SW Calgary, AB T2P 4W7 on
December 4, 2015 at approximately 12:00 PM MST by electronic selection. The name of
one (1) Participating Brokerage will be selected from the database by electronic selection
at random among all Participating Brokerages, in order to award Prizes pursuant to article
4(c). All Participating Brokerages meeting the eligibility criteria herein will be part of
the same draw and will be treated equally for the purposes of determining the Selected
Brokerages.
The Selected Brokerage is then fully responsible for choosing one of its brokers to fulfill
the requirements below and receive the Prize (“Selected Broker”). The Selected Broker
will then have ten (10) days to respond to the Contest Sponsor and correctly answer a
time-limited, skill-testing question, and sign and complete a “Release Form” to be
declared a “Winner”. If the Selected Broker fails to:
a) respond within the allotted time;
b) correctly answer the time-limited, skill-testing question;
c) complete the Release Form; or
d) is ineligible for any reason,
another Participating Brokerage will be selected by random draw and will be contacted
until a Winner is declared for each Prize. One (1) Prize will be awarded to each Winner.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
7(a) Entries are subject to verification by the Contest Sponsor and any designated
insurer. Any such entry that is illegible, incomplete, fraudulent, mutilated, reproduced by

hand or mechanically, sent or submitted late will automatically be rejected and will not
entitle the entrant to the Prize.
7(b) For all entries meeting the criteria set out herein, any fraudulent, illegal, or coercive
conduct which relates to the Contest itself will cause the entry to be null and void. If, in
the judgment of the Contest Sponsor and consistent with applicable legislation, the
conduct is related to only the Contest, the conduct will not affect the validity of the
policy.
8. Any person entering this Contest or trying to do so by any means which would be
unfair to the other entrants, contrary to the Rules or illegal, including computer hacking,
amongst others, will be automatically disqualified and may be subject to prosecution, as
the case may be.
9. In the event that the Sponsor cannot award the Prizes as described herein, the Contest
Sponsor will replace the Prizes with prizes of a similar nature and of equal value, or at
their sole discretion, the value of the prizes in case.
10.The Selected Brokerage, Selected Principal Broker, and the Selected Broker absolve
the Contest Sponsor, its advertising and promotional agencies, its employees, agents and
representatives, and any designated insurer, of all liability for any damage they may
suffer in accepting or using the Prize, including without limitation, in respect of Prizes
given to Selected Brokerages, any liability for any damage, claim or dispute arising from
or in connection with how the Prize is distributed.
11. By entering this Contest, the Winner authorizes the Contest Sponsor to use as
required, his/her name, photograph, picture, place of residence, voice and (or) statement
in connection with the Prize, for advertising purposes, without remuneration or
compensation of any kind.
12. Any personally identifiable information collected during an entrant’s participation in
the Contest will be collected and used by the Contest Sponsor and its Agents for the
purposes of the proper administration and fulfillment of the Contest as described in these
Official Rules. This information will not be shared with any other third party except as
required by law, or to conform with legal process or to protect or defend the legal rights
or property of the Sponsor or as otherwise set forth in the Privacy Promise available at
http://www.intactfc.com/English/Privacy/default.aspx.
13. The Contest Sponsor is not liable for faulty computer components, software, or links,
the loss or nonexistence of communications capability or faulty, incomplete,
incomprehensible or erased telephone, mail, computer or network transmissions that
make it difficult or render any person(s) unable to enter or win the Contest. The Contest
Sponsor is also not responsible for website loading, screening or posting errors, software,
hardware, mail, telephone, network or server errors and reserve the right to modify,
cancel, terminate, or suspend this Contest in whole or in part, at their sole discretion, in
the event a virus, computer bug, unauthorized human intervention, or any other
occurrence beyond their control corrupts or adversely affects the administration, security,
impartiality or normal operation of the Contest.

14. By participating in this Contest, each entrant agrees to release and hold each of the
Contest Sponsor and its Agents, and legal advisors, harmless from any and all losses,
damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with this Contest or
resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including without limitation,
personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights,
defamation, or invasion of privacy.
15. Should any term or provision of these Official Rules be concluded to be void,
unenforceable or contrary to applicable law, such term or provision shall, but only to the
extent necessary to bring the term or provision within the requirements of such law, be
deemed to be severed from these Official Rules; and the remainder of these Official
Rules shall be given effect as if it had not included the severed item.
16. Entries are the property of the Contest Sponsor and will not be returned to entrants.
17. Decisions of the Sponsor are final on all matters of fact, interpretation, eligibility,
procedure and fulfillment in respect to this Contest. The Contest Sponsor reserves the
right to modify, cancel, terminate, or suspend this Contest in whole or in part, at their sole
discretion at any time.
18. By entering this Contest, you acknowledge having read these Rules and agree to
abide by them.
19. For the identification of the winders or for a copy of these Rules, a written request

20. This Contest is subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws. Void where
prohibited or restricted by law.
