Fixation Bandages
Abena’s Curi-Med fixation bandages provide efficient
support and fixation of wound dressings, catheters,
probes, tubes and similar medical devices.
The fixation bandages are available in two qualities plain (fine and crepe) and cohesive. Both qualities are ideal
for bandaging
body parts such as joints. Curi-Med fixation
bandages are especially suitable for sensitive skin that
is intolerant to adhesive fixation materials.
Facts and Features
Plain and cohesive fixation bandages have a weaved
structure that allows the skin to breathe.
The cohesive fixation bandages are soft bandages coated
with a thin layer of latex, which makes the bandage
self-adhesive. The bandage provides a firm no-slip grip,
which makes it stay in place without affecting the blood
circulation.
