RULES AND CONDITIONS
1. TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The Open will be will be held in accordance with:
i) the rules of R&A, IPPA and CP&PA (The number of clubs allowed is maximum 3, including a putter. Each hole
is played from a teeing mat.)
ii) any specific rules for the competition in question
iii) any Additional Conditions and Local Rules set by the Committee and in accordance with the following
conditions.
2. THE COMPETITION
54 holes medal stroke play scratch
June 20: 1st and 2nd rounds (36 holes medal stroke play)
June 21: 3rd round (18 holes medal stroke play)
3. ADMISSION
The competition is reserved to players holding a national Golf or P&P licence:
i) in possession of a valid medical certificate
ii) in possession of a Handicap
iii) in compliance with the Amateur Status
iv) in compliance with the rules of CP&PA or equivalent
v) in compliance with any conditions of admission set out in tournament specifications
vi) in compliance with CP&PA membership
vii) The Committee will decide if players from non-member IPPA countries can participate after examination of
their requests. Should a competition have a restricted field, the policy to be adopted will give priority to IPPA
members with the lowest exact handicaps
4. ENTRY LIST
The maximum number of entries: 62+10. In case of overbooking, the principle adopted for exclusion will be the
Exact handicap, in case of equality of disability, will be considered the date and time of registration. Preference
will be given to foreign players. Registrations must be received by mail at [email protected] no later than
18 June. The 10 CP&PA wild cards will be reserved. A list will be published on the official CP&PA and IPPA
website.
5. REGISTRATION FEES
€ 60 included competition fee and green fee.
The green fees will be waived the day before the competition.

Special Prizes: 1 Lady, 1 Senior and 1 Junior scratch.
7. TIE & Play-off
In the event of a tie for the first position, a “sudden death” playoff will be played on holes 9 and 8, as in
accordance with IPPA and FIP&P Rules. In the event of a tie for the others positions, a count back will be made
on the last 18 holes. If the tie persists, IPPA and CP&PA Rules will be applied.
8. AWARDS
Sunday, 21th June, at the end of the tournament, there will be a ceremony followed by a buffet in honour of the
participants. The presence of winners for the awards ceremony for the awards is required.
9. TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE
A Referee and a Tournament Committee will be appointed, and the nominations made public at the host club,
along with tournament conditions, specifications and additional regulations.
The tournament Committee reserves the right to modify, if necessary, the tournament conditions.
