CALL FORWARDING
To forward all of your incoming calls to another number:
Step 1 Press the CFwdAll softkey. You will hear two beeps.
Step 2 Enter the number to which you want to divert all of your calls to. Enter the number exactly
as you would if you were placing a call to that number.
Let’s pretend that the room I am going to is extension 5103, I would press CFwdALL, listen for the
beeps and enter 5103. From that point forward, any calls for my extension will be forwarded to
5103. Try it.
If I want to forward my calls to my cell phone which is in the 408 area code, I would then enter
87715763 (remember the 8). Try it.
If I want to forward my calls to a phone outside the 408 area code, I would then enter 88319981134
(notice that I included both the 8 and the area code).
Step 3 After you enter the number you will hear two beeps
The LCD screen displays a message confirming the number to which your calls are being forwarded.
NOTE: Be sure to take Call Forwarding off your phone when you have completed your assignment by
selecting the CFwdAll button and removing Call Forwarding.
To Forward Calls by Using the Call Tower Portal – (You can do this
anywhere and at any time)
To access your personal CallTower user portal using your personal user ID:
1. Go to: www.calltower.com
2. Click on the MyCallTower Portal link in the upper right area of the page
3. When prompted for user name and password
a. User name is your email address (e.g., [email protected] for Mary Phillips)
b. Default password = Excellence (with a capital E)
4. Once logged in, select the Call Forwarding tab and enter the number to which you would
like to forward calls. (See example below). If you want all calls to go directly to email and
not forward to a number, place a checkmark in the appropriate box. I do not recommend
this for summer school. You should use your assigned classroom extension. Select Save.
5. When you are finished with your assignment, log back into the portal and leave all areas
blank to remove Call Forwarding. Select Save. You can also remove Call Forwarding by
deselecting it from your phone.
