“Game Meat Hygiene in Focus” Conference

The International “Game Meat Hygiene in Focus” conference is the
perfect opportunity to bring together professionals to discuss wild game
meat production from forest to fork
Key note speakers of international reputation, poster sessions to
stimulate discussion on the latest research on wild game meat, handson experience by visiting a deer farm and abattoir and an international
audience for networking are the main features of this event
The preliminary programme will be circulated soon, however if you wish to register for the
conference, please complete the registration form. Poster submissions are welcome (see
overleaf).

Poster Submission
Please submit poster abstracts (ca. 1 page, 12pt Times New Roman or Arial; lines 1.5 spacing) as
.doc/.docx files to: [email protected]. Abstracts should not include tables or figures. The
abstracts should be in the order: title, names of author(s), institution(s), main text, (acknowledgment).
Decision on acceptance will be within 7-10 days after submission. All accepted abstracts will be printed
in the conference proceedings, if at least one of the contributors is registered for the conference.
Selected abstracts will appear as separate chapters in the third volume of the “Game meat hygiene in
focus” series.

and the easiest way to arrive directly to the Vet School is by taxi. A taxi will cost around £20 but check
taxi fares before travel.
By Bus (not recommended) - Otherwise follow directions for the City Centre and then directions from
the City Centre to the Vet School (Easter Bush).

The Easter Bush Veterinary Centre
