WElcome to Irish Fest Summer School 2015!
Fáilte Romhat Aris Chuig Scoil Samhraidh
The Irish Fest Summer School features classes that showcase the rich
culture, history and traditions of Ireland and Irish America, past and present.
Come learn to play Irish fiddle, flute, whistle, guitar, Celtic music styles
and more from master musicians. Or take a discussion class and learn
about Irish history, Irish language, and culture. Our art and craft classes
offer hands-on learning for everyone. This year, our Children’s Program
returns, featuring classes and samplers for kids ages 7-12 to explore
Celtic crafts, dance, music, and drama. Classes are held Monday evening
through Friday morning at our NEW LOCATION at the Milwaukee Irish Fest
Center and nearby locations in Wauwatosa (see details inside).
Fees per class range from $25 to $50 (samplers, children’s classes, music
workshops) to $110 or $150 (adult classes, depending on level). Special full
week rates apply for Celtic Kids Camp, with a discount for three or more children
enrolled and paid together. There’s an early bird discount for registering by
June 1, 2015—10% off fees for three-day classes (excludes children’s classes,
Music Workshops and Friday Samplers). See inside for highlights. The schedule,
instructors and fees appear below. Instructor biographies and complete
class description are available online. Please visit our new website:
