Delta Islanders Jr “A” Lacrosse Club
Dear Prospective Partner,
The Delta Islanders Jr “A” Lacrosse Club competes in the B.C. Junior ‘A’ Lacrosse League. The league consists
of 8 teams from the Lower Mainland, Nanaimo and Victoria. They all compete for the honour of being
crowned national champions of Canada’s national summer sport, and winners of the famed “Minto Cup”, one
of Canada’s oldest sports award.
The Delta Islander Jr “A” Lacrosse Club operates an elite five year box lacrosse program specifically
committed to developing box lacrosse players between the ages of 17 and 21. The program is comprised of
two teams, the Jr “A” team (17 – 21 year olds), and a development Intermediate “A” team (17 – 18 year
olds). Many of these exceptional and talented players will perfect their skills with the Delta Islanders and go
on to be drafted into the National Lacrosse League (NLL) and the Western Lacrosse Association (WLA), as well
as earn university scholarships.
The Delta Islanders Jr “A” Lacrosse Club is looking for Corporate Partnerships/Advertisement to join them in
the 2015 season.
In this Partnership/Advertisement package, you will find an overview of how we would like you to join us in
celebrating our 15th season, a season in which the team is working hard to achieve their goal of playing in the
Minto Cup. The Delta Islanders Jr “A” Lacrosse program has improved tremendously over the last 6 years.
With a combination of returning players, a string of successful trades and strong drafting, this year may be
their year to reach the pinnacle of junior lacrosse in Canada.
The Delta Islanders Jr “A” Lacrosse Club is a non-profit organization whose success is dependent on local
community support. Partnership/Advertisement funding goes directly to the team. Four levels of
Partnership /Advertisement packages are available, as detailed in the enclosed information. By partnering
with us, we’ll profile your company as a business leader in the Lower Mainland, and an active supporter of
our community. You’ll be reaching a targeted audience of lacrosse fans, who will in turn support your
business. The Jr. ‘A’ Islanders have renewed their commitments for 2015, and invite you to consider this
proposal, and join them as they begin their quest to be Canadian Jr. ‘A’ Lacrosse Minto Cup Champions.

We are also very much in need of prize donations for our fundraising events during the season (raffle/silent
auction at event) If you are able to assist with a prize donation, we would greatly appreciate this.

OTHER OPTIONS
Mini Tyke Half Time Games - This is a fun event to sponsor when we have the mini tykes play during
intermissions for special games. Your company will be announced as the 1/2 time game sponsor and featured
in the program afterwards with a picture of the mini tyke teams playing.
