Intro. Registration fee: $75/participant Each clinic will be limited to a maximum of twenty-five (25) participants The registration fee is a prerequisite to begin the course. Cheques made payable to Manitoba Lacrosse Association Participants are to bring a pen and paper for classroom sessions and lacrosse stick and runners for practical on floor sessions. The Canadian Lacrosse Association and Manitoba Lacrosse have instituted minimum-coaching standards for all disciplines in lacrosse. Coaches must obtain the “minimum standard” that is required for the age group they will be coaching. All box coaches (Head and Assistant) who will be coaching Tyke, Novice and Pee Wee must obtain the Community Development level. All coaches (Head and Assistants) participating in MLA sanctioned programs (Red River Lacrosse Association, Thompson Lacrosse, High School Field Lacrosse, Provincial Box and Field programs) must be registered members of the MLA. Coaches who are not certified at their required minimum standard and who are not paid MLA members are not eligible to be on the bench.
