he International Seminar on Science of Music (ISSM-2015) to be held at
the Inter University Centre for Studies in Science of Music (IUCSSM
Mahatma Gandhi University) aims to explore our knowledge and
understanding of the science of music. This seminar intends to spotlight
recent advances and research activities in the field and generate discussion
and interaction across disciplinary and institutional borders, stimulating new
research by approaching questions not highlighted within the traditional
disciplines of music or science.

Paper/Abstract Submission
There will be invited talks by many internationally renowned scholars and
researchers in the field of 'Science of Music'. The Seminar is open for further
participants, who are invited to submit their papers or participate as listeners.
Participants may submit contributed papers /posters (in English) on the
theme of the seminar (Technology related: IT / Computer Science / Physics
/ Mathematics /.../, Biology related: Medical Science / Psychology /.../ ,
Social Science & Instrument related). The multidisciplinary and multicultural
interaction between presenters and participants is expected to bring about a
better understanding of the challenges in the field and also generate new
methods and ideas. Interested participants are invited to submit abstract of
their paper / poster (300 words) via email: [email protected]
or directly through the seminar website.
The seminar proceedings will be published in the form of a monograph. All
submissions (full paper not exceeding 3000 words) will be peer reviewed.
Submissions should strictly follow APA format (may be downloaded from
site www.apastyle.org).
