18TH ANNUAL BARNEGAT BAY FESTIVAL-Vendor Information
Sunday, June 7, 2015 -- 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
WANAMAKER COMPLEX, ISLAND HEIGHTS, NJ
1. Please note: all items for display and/or sale, including crafts, apparel and decorative items, must be
representative of the environmental theme of the festival and/or Barnegat Bay history, culture, or crafts.
Please provide a full description of your product(s) on the form.
2. In keeping with our environmental theme, we ask that your exhibits and products do not include
selling or giving away plastic bags, Styrofoam or polystyrene, helium balloons, six-pack rings and
anything else that can be harmful to wildlife or human life. We ask that you lead by example and
encourage the use of recycled products where possible.
3. Please provide environmentally friendly packaging where possible. Please ask the purchaser if they
need the item bagged or wrapped, and if so, please try to use paper.
4. The festival will be held outdoors, at a beautiful waterfront park. Please pick up trash in and around
your booth. Thank you.
5. The festival area will be open by 7:00 a.m. on June 7th, to accommodate set up of spaces. A festival
representative will direct you to the appropriate location for your display. Please have your space set up
by 9:30 a.m. If you have reserved a space in the Festival tent, you do need to provide your own chairs.
6. We suggest rocks, bungee cords, etc. to keep any literature from blowing away. We also suggest tarps or
plastic coverings should we experience sudden downpours as can sometimes happen in late afternoon.
7. The Barnegat Bay Partnership retains the right to decline a request to participate. Participation does not
constitute endorsement by the Barnegat Bay Partnership or other sponsors.
8. In the event of violation of the agreed terms on the signed vendor application, the Committee reserves
the right to request immediate removal of said merchandise and/or display. In the event of such decision
by the Barnegat Bay Partnership, the vendor may not be permitted to display/sell merchandise of any
type at any future Barnegat Bay Festival.
To reserve your space, the form should be completed and returned by April 30, 2015
Please let us know as soon as possible of your intent to participate as we will be putting
together a vendor map for distribution to festival-goers. The vendor fee is NONREFUNDABLE, but is a donation to the Barnegat Bay Partnership.
DIRECTIONS TO WANAMAKER COMPLEX IN ISLAND HEIGHTS:
GPS Directions: Corner of Van Sant & East End Avenues
Take the Garden State Parkway to Exit 82. Take Route 37 east to Vaughn/West End Avenues. Take a right on
West End Avenue, go up the hill (keeping “Triangle Park” where the “Welcome to Island Heights” sign is
located on your right), and take a left on Summit Avenue, then a right on East End Avenue (almost to the
water). Cross over Van Sant Avenue and take your first left into the police station/municipal complex driveway
(just after a small playground). You will be able to park your car in this parking lot, or on a nearby street. You
will receive a parking pass for your vehicle window. Please carpool if possible. Spaces are limited. If you arrive
before 8:30a.m., you should be able to pull onto the field and unload your materials prior to parking.

be consistent with our stated spirit and theme. If you are not sure about your display, please call. If your exhibit does not
conform, you may be asked to leave without a refund. The Festival Coordinator will be reviewing all exhibits.
Food Vendors: Please NO STYROFOAM CONTAINERS. Appropriate Department of Health certificates must be
available for inspection on site on festival day.
Crafters/Product Vendors: Please briefly describe your product(s). Food Vendors: Please detail menu or attach
same.
