IPA SPAIN (1 – 15 August)
The IPA Spain Section looks forward to hosting the 2015 International Youth
Gathering and has put together a program for a 14-day tour (1st – 15th August 2015).
THE THEME of IYG2015 is “Spain, a multicultural journey without borders”
IYG Spain 2015 will travel through the north of Spain, from East to West.
Commencing in Barcelona and travelling through Bilbao, Donosti, A Coruña,
Santiago de Compostela, Leon, Valladolid, Palencia, Madrid and Zaragoza.
Come to Spain, it will be an opportunity to experience travel to another country and to
meet people of a similar age from different cultures and backgrounds while gaining a
deeper knowledge of our history and culture and through association with other
participants, the culture of other countries and social character.
AGE: The 2015 Youth Gathering has been designed for the teenage; the participant
shall be 16 or 17 years of age at the start of the IYG.
WHO CAN APPLY? : Open to the children or grandchildren of current IPA members.
Each IPA country can send two applicants with the option of a third applicant if there
are enough places free. Attendance of the participants must be authorized by the IPA
Section in their home country. The number of participants is limited to 50 and will be
handled on a «first-come, first-served» basis.
COST OF IYG: 700 € per child exclusive of Air Travel costs and includes
accommodation, meals, all excursions and coach travel within Spain.
INSURANCE: Child must be in possession of travel / health insurance which covers
Sports Activities.
REGISTRATION will start on 1st January and closing date, 31 st March 2015. Please
note that we will not accept any registration forms before that date.
A deposit of 200 € must accompany each registration when it is submitted. The
remaining balance of 500 € (total 700 €) of the registration fee should be paid by no
later than 31st March 2015 or any places reserved may be forfeited. Deposits will be
returned, upon request, prior to 28th February 2015
