Made in France, this 18inch x14inch ceramic stone distributes heat evenly throughout the bread
dough or other foods.
The Emile Henry Baking/Grill Stone heats up quickly and cleans up easily and completely
retaining absolutely no odors or stains making it possible to use the stone to grill fish and later
bake bread without risking a transfer of flavors. This stone, due to its flame-top characteristics,
heats up as an oven or grill heats up and is ready when the oven and grill temperature reaches the
desired temperature.
This stone is lightweight and features large handles that are ample size so they can be held with
oven mitts. Cooks can lift the stone by the handles and carry it to a trivet or counter for cutting
and serving. Cooks can cut right on the stone and serve on it as it is a lovely serving tray or they
can slide the food off onto another dish. The stone is naturally non-stick so food slides right off.
The stone doubles as an appetizer or cheese tray that can go from refrigerator or oven to the
table. The Baking/Grilling stone is available in two colors: Brick and Charcoal.
