combination of lead rollers matched with UHMW slider
strips. This configuration requires 50% less pulling
force which ultimately extends the equipment life while
still maintaining the ability to secure the battery when

MECHANICISM
Allows for powered push/pull removal and
replacement of batteries,substantially reduces the risk of injuries to the operator.
POSITIVE BRAKING SYSTEM
A frame mounted brake prevents pushback during the battery change eliminating
the need for retaining chains. The operator
doesn’t have to leave his position to connect hooks, chains or safety stops. The
stop is also used as a parking brake when
the unit is parked.

A custom designed flocculent is used to encapsulate all the heavy metals. It also creates
a large flock to enhance the filtering process.
With a current increased focus on both environmental
impact and safety practices in today’s workplace,
the handling and disposing of hazardous waste byproducts from battery washing, can be a complicated and expensive task. Carney Battery Handling
has the modern day solution with our closed loop
waste water treatment system. This system allows
for fast, easy, safe and most importantly, environmentally friendly, handling and disposal of all your
battery washing contaminates.
Engineered and constructed as a stand-alone unit,
the “WWTS” works directly coupled with our “Battery Maid”. It can also be modified and linked to a
competitor’s battery wash system. Our “WWTS”
provides a “clean white glove” approach to handling and managing all of the contaminants by preventing them from re-entering the environment.
The clear PVC body construction and hinged
access cover ensure continuous visual monitoring
of the battery wash solution and provides complete
safety from any overflow or splashing that may
occur during the purging and filtering process. All of
the unit’s components are PVC and stainless steel
and have been engineered to withstand the harshest
environment and workloads.
What makes our system unique is the custom
blended flocculent that is used to encapsulate all
heavy metals and particulate. It is this encapsulation
process that prevents contaminates from leaching
back into the environment. This allows for simple
disposal in your regular garbage collection.
Note: A standard TCLP test (soil leachate test) is
usually required by local authorities to confirm
compliance at each location and there may also
be other local regulations to comply with.

aluminum (not wood) the “Battery Buddy” is impervious to acid and dry rot and will not fatigue and
potentially weaken like other beams.

failure point consistently in excess of 30,000lbs. which
