KIDS, FAMILY & TEENS: CAMPS
SUPPORT THE JCC
WHAT’S YOUR PHILANTHROPIC PASSION?
There are many ways to donate and support the JCC
of Mid-Westchester and uphold our mission to enrich
the community by providing cultural, social, educational
and recreational/fitness programs, human services and
Jewish identity-building opportunities to people of all
ages, backgrounds and sexual orientation. In order for
us to fund and continue to provide these
programs and services, we rely on generous
financial support from our community.
To learn more about how you can support
the JCC, please contact Melissa Haber,
Development Officer at (914) 472-3300,

EMPLOYER MATCHED DONATIONS/
CORPORATE MATCHING GIFTS
When you use your company’s matching gift
program to add to your charitable donations, it’s like your
whole company is part of your giving community.
PLANNED GIVING: JCC ENDOWMENT FUNDS
By initiating an endowment fund, your donation can
help charitable causes that are near and dear to your
heart while supporting the community for generations.
Designate your personal endowment fund in honor of or in
memory of a loved one or in a family name.
Here are five easy ways to start an endowment:
• Cash or Appreciated Securities: An outright gift of cash
or appreciated securities may be used to start a named
endowment. By donating appreciated securities you may
be able to avoid capital gains and/or income taxes.
• Bequest: A donation established through the donor’s
will in any amount, either to a general cause or to
benefit a specific area of interest at the JCC.
• Charitable Gift Annuity: A one-time gift ($5,000 or
more) that provides the donor with a fixed income for
life, beginning at age 65 or later, and the remainder of
the gift can be designated to the JCC.
• Charitable Remainder Annuity Trust: A gift in the form
of a trust (better for gifts exceeding $100,000) that
avoids fluctuations in interest rates by providing a fixed
income to a donor or someone designated by the donor
for life, joint lives, or a term of up to 20 years.
• Life Insurance Gift: An easy and potentially inexpensive
way of creating a significant endowment. The donor
may endow a gift for the JCC by using a life insurance
policy while the donor pays the premiums. The donor will
receive a tax deduction on the premium paid.
Put your company in the spotlight!
Support the JCC as a sponsor or under-writer of one
of our many outstanding annual programs or events.
JCC programs attract thousands of participants from
the Westchester community and vary from sport and
recreational events such as our 5K Run/
Walk, our Day of Chesed, Day of Service in
honor of 9/11, to cultural happenings such
as our highly popular Arts&Talks series,
and Israeli Film Series. Other family events
include Sunday Funday for children with
special needs, and a number of additional
popular performances held throughout the
year in the Bendheim theatre.
Gain exposure to the thousands of homes
in Westcheser through direct mailings,
newspaper and magazine advertisements,
promotions, public relations and internet marketing
campaigns.
