Dear JCP Community,
We are writing to share with you that after three years of dedicated service to our
community, Eli Kornreich, JCP's Executive Director, will be moving on from JCP as
of June 30th. Eli has accepted a new position as Executive Director at Westchester
Reform Temple in Scarsdale, New York.
While at JCP, Eli, working closely with Rabbi Jason, staff and volunteers, helped
expand our spiritual, holiday and cultural offerings. In addition, Eli has been guiding
and leading JCP's operations, strengthening and streamlining our financial, facilities
and development departments and processes. Eli's contributions to our community
will endure as another solid layer in the foundation of JCP.
In the coming weeks Eli will work closely with the Board of Directors and staff to
ensure a smooth transition of his role. We look forward to sharing our plans for JCP's
next phase of organizational growth with you.
As summer approaches and the school year comes to a close, JCP is ramping up to
enter another exciting program year ahead. The JCP leadership team, including
Sharon Shorofsky Mack, Director of Education and Associate Director of JCP, Rabbi
Jason Klein, Director of JCP's Center for Jewish Life, and Alex Kogan, JCP's Senior
Business and Finance Manager, along with all of our dedicated professional team and
Board of Directors, are energized to lead the charge in continuing to expand and
satisfy all of our Jewish community needs, in education, spirituality, celebration and
friendship. We look forward to kicking off a wonderfully-planned program year with
you and your families beginning with the High Holidays in September.
