Jerome Home and Arbor Rose Staff Puts Residents First
T
Executive Directors Thank Employees for Rising to Winter Challenges
he winter season is amongst us and it is
seemingly going to last! It is at these times
when the staff of Arbor Rose and Jerome Home
truly come together for our residents. While many
other professions get to enjoy a “snow day,” we
here at Jerome Home and Arbor Rose are in
winter storm planning mode. We know that our
residents rely on us for some of their basic needs
such as meals, medication reminders and
personal care….and we must deliver on our
promise to care for them!

Welcome, Lori Pisani!
On Jan. 12, Jerome Home
and Arbor Rose
welcomed Lori Pisani to
our staff as our director of
community engagement.
Lori comes to us after 10
years working at our sister
community Mulberry
Gardens of Southington
where she was the recreation director and
Planetree facilitator. Lori’s role at Jerome Home
and Arbor Rose will be a supportive role to all
residents, families and staff. She will support our
neighborhood meetings and, as ideas are
generated or quality improvement initiatives are
discussed, will assist in leading work teams to
ensure progress and great outcomes.
Her energy, laughter and passion is contagious
and we are so fortunate to have her join our
team!

Caregivers’ Support Group
at Arbor Rose
Being a caregiver is a difficult challenge. It is
easy to feel overburdened by making financial
decisions, managing changes in behavior or
even helping a loved one with daily tasks that
once were easy. A free caregivers’ support
group will be held Wednesday, March 18,
from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., at Arbor Rose at
Jerome Home.
The support group, which meets on the third
Wednesday of each month, is facilitated by
Kate Rabinoff, MSW, resident services
coordinator, and Mary Roberts, RN, director
of adult day services.
To RSVP, please call Kate Rabinoff
at (860) 229-3707.
