To the friends of St. Joan of Arc Knights Football,
The football program at St. Joan of Arc High School in Barrie was founded in 2001 and we are
proud to hold the honour of being the first Catholic High School in Simcoe County with a football team.
In comparison to other local football programs, we are a fairly young program but with hard work and
dedication, we are starting to see the fruits of our labour on the field. In fact, this past year, the Senior
Knights won their 3rd consecutive GBSSA title.
We are, however, faced with the continuing challenge of purchasing and maintaining updated
equipment for the safety of our players. Our yearly fund-raising efforts have allowed us to keep individual
player fees to a minimum thus promoting universal access. To this end, we are now looking to continue
our partnership with local community members. We are asking local community members and corporate
partners to participate in our 7th Annual St. Joan of Arc Knights Grid Iron Golf Classic, in support of
Knights Football.
All proceeds from this tournament will be used to directly offset the playing costs for each football
player at St. Joan of Arc.
We believe that the future of St. Joan of Arc Football depends upon the support of our
