New here? - Jobs at The Crossing

New here?
If you’re new, you probably have questions. This is a good place
for you to start. Also, feel free to stop down front after the service.
How do I get information about events, classes or groups?
Head to the Connection Point or go to wcrossing.org/signups.
What if I want to get more involved? Where do I go from here?
One of our favorite questions! Our Connection Coaches would love to help
you. They may suggest you sign up for a group or class, join a serving team,
or perhaps encourage you to attend a Newcomer’s Dinner if you’ve never
been. At Chesterfield and Fenton, we also hold a short session after the services
on the first weekend of the month called Next Steps solely created to help folks
decide where to step in.
How old should my kids be for KidsCrossing? Is it safe?
We take kids ministry seriously around here (but not too serious). Our volunteers
have all participated in extensive interview processes and background checks
to ensure the safety of your child. We have age-appropriate teaching and worship
for infants through 5th grade. If you walk back to the KidsCrossing registration
desk, we will get your child safely settled in and answer any other questions
you have. You can also email [email protected].
What do you offer for middle-school and high-schoolers?
YouthCrossing is the place for all tweens and teens. They get together at each
campus once a week: Fenton & Mid Rivers meet Tuesdays and Chesterfield
on Wednesdays from 6:30–8:30pm. Live worship, small group sessions, and
teaching catered toward their age group mixed in with some fun activities
during hang-time will be what your tween/teen can expect. For all things Youth,
check out youthcrossing.org or email [email protected].

Volume I—March 14–March 29, 2015
Welcome to The Crossing.
A glorious inheritance. A spiritual armor. A new way of living in community.
Grace. In a profound letter written to the ancient church in Ephesus, all
of these promises are guaranteed to those who follow Jesus. We invite
you to learn, explore, and mine the depths of God’s Word together in our
series on the New Testament book of Ephesians.
We are so excited to continue this Ephesians journey together. If you have
questions about anything we’re learning, please come down to the front
of the auditorium after the service. Hang onto this program for the next few
weeks so you can keep track of what’s going on. Thanks for joining us today.
