To all Cycle I Parents,
On Friday May 1st 2015, we will be hosting our second annual JRHS “Guys Night” and
we would like to invite your son to participate. The goal of this event is to build selfesteem and self-confidence among our Rennie boys in a fun-filled evening of positive
interactions and activities. The evening will also focus on developing effective
communication skills and learning appropriate use of social media.
Throughout the evening, there will be a wide variety of student and teacher run
workshops; organized by our “Guys Night” committee and senior leadership students. In
addition, former Olympic sprinter, Nicolas Macrozonaris, will be our keynote speaker.
Nicolas has an impressive Track and Field resume, and participated in the 2000 Games
in Sydney as well as those in Athens in 2004.
Guys Night will begin @2:30 pm and come to an end @9:30 pm. The cost is $40.00 per
student which includes supper, snacks and a T-shirt. To register, please complete the
attached form and submit your payment to cycle 1 office by April 21st.
Attached to this communication is a copy of the field trip forms that need to be
completed and submitted with payment. Hard copies of this letter were distributed to all
of the Cycle 1 students, copies of the field trip forms can be printed at home or picked at
the Cycle one office.
