Teen Hand Building And Wheel Instructor: Audrey Cowell Ages 12-17
Students experiment with an array of materials and tools including watercolor, acrylic, and oil paints,
chalk pastels, and collage. This age appropriate curriculum is based on a playful approach to art to
teach fine art techniques, learn art history, and build confidence.

Face Jugs etc. using handbuilding techniques of pinching, coiling and slab building. We will use the
theme of "Play" to create wonderfully fun and functional works of ceramic art. No prior clay classes

Drawing in the Japanese Manga/Anime Style Instructor: Erin Cook Ages 9-14
Stitchin’ Time Sewing Class Instructor: Teresa Gaddes Ages 8-12
Heard of Mario, Yoshi, and Pikachu? You can learn to draw them! In this beginner class students learn
basic body proportion and perspective as they work with a variety of drawing and painting materials. This
class is for beginner/intermediate students.
Girls learn the basics of sewing on the machine as they make lunch bags, note book covers, and other fun
trendy items. Students will learn: proper use of tools and fabrics, sewing terms, pattern reading, measuring and cutting fabric, and the fundamentals of sewing.

Received a 35mm DSLR for Christmas? This class will help you learn how to use it without having to rely
on auto mode! Learn the basics of digital photography for your specific 35mm DSLR and the elements that
make a pleasing photograph. Topics covered include exposure controls, basic flash, lens selection, safe
downloading/archiving and basic Photoshop techniques. Be sure to bring your camera and its manual.
