Congratulations to Dea Talmage, a single mother of three who won the 2015
Ambassador Dinner Raffle for $5,000 toward a car, which was generously donated by
the following dealerships: Jim Winter, Art Moehn, Extreme Dodge, Seymour Ford and
Huff Auto. Here's her story:
“Trey was a freshman this year at KVCC in Kalamazoo. I had completely forgotten that I
purchased an Ambassadors Dinner raffle ticket when Trey started complaining that his
2001 Park Ave was having problems regulating the temperature. It was about two
weeks later that I received a call from Cheryl Simonetti at 10:00 p.m. on a Friday night to
tell me that I had won $5,000 toward the purchase of a car! What a blessing!
Trey and I found a 2010 Chevy Cobalt at Extreme Dodge. We worked with Neil Campbell
and got a GREAT deal. Thanks to our winning ticket, the awesome deal and our trade in,
we financed only a very small amount in Trey's name. He will make the payments with
money he is earning from his part time job at K-Wings Stadium and in three years will
have established good credit and have a valuable asset.
